Moral Reconation Therapy

Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy focused on increasing moral reasoning and improving positive decisions.  MRT assists clients in the process process of conscious decision making and encourages pro-social behavior by developing higher moral reasoning skills.  MRT is based on the idea that thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes are the primary drivers of behavior.  Through group sessions, MRT helps clients reflect on how their actions affect others and provides the tools for meaningful change.
